Short Biography
MattyB was born on January 6th, 2003. He is a young pop and rap singer that contrary to many in the business has kept his rap lyrics completely G-rated. The fact that the lyrics are very personal, multifaceted, and inspiring is what is making them so popular. He encourages kids to follow their dreams, whatever they may be. His music has appeared on The Today Show, Dr. Phil Show, The Wendy Williams Show, EXTRA TV, Fox, and The Queen Latifah Show. He has also appeared on a few television shows including Dance Moms.

MattyB enjoys performing and has done so at some pretty large venues, including Atlanta Motor Speedway, Phillips Arena, Turner Field, Centennial Olympic Park, and Six Flags. He is also an actor having appeared in commercials and with Dwayne Johnson. His shows on tour continually sell out. His album, Outside the Lines, was released in August of 2015.

Early Life
Before he was MattyB, he was Matthew David Morris, a kid that loved peewee baseball and going to school. He began his music career at age seven.

MattyB was selected by Billboard Magazine in 2013 for their Top 21 under 21 list. He has nearly 7.5 million subscribers on YouTube and over 3.3 billion views on over 800 videos. He also goes by MattyBRaps.

Personal and Family Life
MattyB has four siblings (Sarah, Blake, John, and Joshua) that he loves hanging out with. He enjoys video games, art, lacrosse, and boxing. He is currently in middle school. His parents are Black and Tawny Morris.

Friends and Associates
MattyB has plenty of friends and enjoys putting together videos with them. One of the videos, “We Can’t Stop” features six of his best friends, Kate, Jake, Justin, Carson, Druw, and Jack.
