Dan Howell

Short Biography
Dan Howell is a radio personality and a British video blogger with the YouTube channel danisnotonfire that enjoys more than six million subscribers. He has a second channel called danisnotinteresting. He was born on June 11th, 1991. He is the author of two books, “The Amazing Book is Not on Fire” and “Dan and Phil Go Outside.” Along with Phil Lester, he broadcasts the Dan and Phil Sunday night show on BBC Radio 1.

Early Life
When Dan was 16 years old, he worked at Focus DIY, a retail chain. He also worked at the Asda supermarket. He attended The Forest School and continued his education at the University of Manchester to study law, however, he dropped out after one year to instead focus on a video blogging career. Prior to 2012, he wrote a weekly blog for The Huffington Post.

Facts
Dan has won a number of awards as well as having been nominated for others. Dan and Phil radio spot won the Sony Golden Headphones Award in 2013. He also won the Lovie Internet Video Person of the Year Award in 2016. Also in 2016, he won two British Online Creator Awards – Film of the Year and Collaboration of the Year. His fans are called Danosaurs and collectively as Llamaarmy. That is because he has a huge passion for llamas. His favorite celebs are Delia Smith, Jennifer Lawrence, and Kanye West.

Personal and Family Life
Dan has a younger brother, Adrian. Little else is known about his family and personal life.

Friends and Associates
He really does quite a bit with his best friend Phil Lester, including creating the gaming channel DanAndPhilGAMES and a mobile app called the 7-second challenge. They also reside together in London.
