Khloe Kardashian’s Exercise and Diet Plan

Not too long ago, Khloe Kardashian wasn’t known for much more than being Kim’s chubbier sister. Today, though, she’s a whole new woman. She’s dropped over 40 pounds, and she’s looking incredible. So how did she do it? And how can others seek to emulate the 31-year-old’s incredible weight loss success?

Small Changes That She Could Stick To

When you first hear about her diet, you might think that you could never go completely dairy-free and wonder how she hasn’t had a major break in willpower yet. However, Khloe says her success has been based on small, sustainable changes. She didn’t just go all dairy-free at once, and she didn’t change every meal of the day to fit the diet on the first day. Instead, she made small changes that she could live with over a longer period of time.

Breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and Khloe often starts her days with eggs and oatmeal. If you opt for unsweetened oatmeal with some fresh fruit, you can get a healthy breakfast without a lot of added sugar.

Lunch

Khloe keeps it light for her lunches. She loves creating delicious and nutritious salads to load up on fiber and fresh veggies. This is a great way to keep your energy high without loading up on a lot of empty calories in the middle of the day.

Snacks

If she’s feeling hungry, Khloe doesn’t just count down the hours until her next meal. Instead, she always packs fruit with her, and she always drinks a protein shake on the car ride home from working out at the gym. That way she avoids getting tired or “hangry” between meals and after exercise.

Dinner

Chicken is Khloe’s go-to protein at dinnertime, and she completes the meal with vegetables and either rice or a sweet potato so that she gets some good carbs in there, too. She isn’t a big fan of pasta, and she doesn’t eat bread at night so that her body doesn’t have those simple carbs to process when she goes to sleep.

Balancing Vices

Khloe doesn’t restrict herself to eating healthy all the time, though. Sometimes she’ll let herself have a special treat, like a piece of pizza or a handful of M&Ms. She cautions her fellow dieters to avoid drinking more than one or two alcoholic beverages at a time, since they’re packed with empty calories and sugar.

Working Out

Along with getting her diet straight, Khloe committed to becoming a workout junky. She’s found that she feels more relaxed and comfortable with herself after she works out, and she’s gotten so into exercise and fitness that she’s actually written a book about it – Strong Looks Better Naked.

Khloe Kardashian’s transformation is one of those success stories that people love, and it shows us that even without a personal trainer or chef keeping track of everything you eat and how much you work out, you can get there, too.
