SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Sadie Dupuis is a band member of Speedy Ortiz, where she is the guitarist, lead vocalist, and lyricist. She was also a band member of another band called Quilty.
EARLY LIFE
Dupuis expressed a love for music as a child and joined a professional choir in middle school.
FACTS
1. She is a a multi-instrumentalist who plays the Drums, Keyboard, Bass and Banjo.
2. She attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Barnard College and University of Massachusetts Amherst.
3. Sadie released two albums with the band Quilty before the band split up in 2012. She later joined Speedy Ortiz and the first song she wrote is called “Ka-Prow”.
4. She owkred Hip Hop artist Lizzo, under the name Sad13.
5. Lizzo and Dupuis wrote a song together called ‘Basement Queens’.

Dupuis is from New York City, NY and she learned to play the guitar at the age of 13.
