Sam Pottorff

Short Biography
Sam Pottorff was born on October 19th, 1995 in Laguna Beach, California. He is primarily a YouTube star but is also on Twitter, Vine, and Snapchat. He was part of the web star group called our2ndlife (O2L) with Trevor Moran, Ricky Dillon, Jc Caylen, Connor Franta, and Kian Lawley until they split up in December of 2014.

Early Life
Sam didn’t have the easiest childhood as he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at five years of age. He was homeschooled until high school, but because of diabetes, it wasn’t easy to fit in and he ended up dropping out of school at one point due to the bullying and teasing he experienced.

Facts
Sam experienced a slightly different education than some having attended the independent study program through Opportunities for Learning, based in Dana Point, California which is a public charter high school that helps those that require a non-traditional learning experience. Sam’s brother also attended. Another interesting fact is that Sam is half Arabic and partially Turkish.

Personal and Family Life
Sam has three siblings, younger brother Levi and older sisters Cloe and Mia. He used to date Jessica Carbo but in 2016 he began dating Rosa van Iterson, to whom he becomes engaged the same year. His parents are Mary Fifield and John Pottorff who were divorced when Sam was just eight years old.

Friends and Associates
Sam shares a YouTube channel with Kian which is called SuperKian13. Another friend, Zach King, also enjoys a huge following on YouTube. With activity on three YouTube channels and plenty of popular music videos, Sam has more than a half million views and over 160,000 subscribers.
