Lilly Singh was born on September 26th, 1988. She is a YouTube sensation (known as Superwoman) as well as a motivational speaker and stand-up comedienne. She is also known for her acting and for being a rapper. In 2016, she ranked 8th on the list of the highest paid YouTube celebrities in the world. She reportedly earned $3 million in 2015. In addition to her YouTube popularity, she has also done voice roles, background dancing, and cameos on various films, including being the voice of Bubbles/Misty on Ice Age: Collision Course in 2016.

Early Life
Lilly was raised in the Sikh tradition. She was a bit of a tomboy. She started out making videos as a way to cope with depression. She was raised in Scarbourough but later moved to Markham, Ontario. In 2015, she moved to Los Angeles, California.

Facts
Lilly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from York University. She has visited India looking to better understand her Punjabi heritage. To date, Lilly has won five awards, including Social Superstar of the Year 2015 from MTV Fandom Awards, two Choice Web Star awards in 2016, and three Streamy Awards, one in 2015 and two in 2016.

Lilly’s parents are Malwinder and Sukhwinder Singh who were originally from Punjab, India. She also has an older sister, Tina, who also has a YouTube channel.
