Celebrity Nutritionists’ Best Diet and Weight Loss Tips

Losing weight isn’t easy, and figuring out the best diet plan for you can be really intimidating. Who do you listen to? What tips are the best? Celebrity nutritionists build their careers on getting fast results and helping some of the most famous people in the world stay in shape with good diets. Check out some of their best tips for dieting and weight loss right here:

Celebrity Nutritionists

Don’t Drink Your Calories

Cheryl Foberg, The Biggest Loser’s nutritionist, points out that people often think they’re eating a healthy diet but completely forget about their beverage intake. They may eat a regular 2000-calorie diet, but then they’ll pack on 500-1000 extra calories in sodas, fruit juices, coffee drinks, and other beverages. If you want to lose weight without feeling like you’re going on a diet, try cutting out high-calorie beverages and switching to water.

Don’t Eat in Front of the TV

Eating in front of the television, while you’re on the phone, while you’re driving, or while you’re doing anything else that distracts from the experience of dining can have drastic results on your diet. Eat consciously, and you’ll consume up to 40% less than you would while eating when you’re distracted.

Eat a Big Breakfast

Eating a big, healthy breakfast is a great way to start your day with lots of fuel in your tank. You won’t feel hungry for lunch as early, and you won’t be as likely to overeat when you do eat lunch. Then you can carry that energy through the afternoon with a healthy snack before dinner.

Eat on the 80/20 Plan

Famed nutritionist Jillian Michaels recommends eating 80% healthy foods and 20% fun, delicious foods. Divide your daily calories this way, and you won’t feel like you’re giving anything up and you’ll be more likely to stick to your diet for the long term.

Go to Bed Earlier

Getting more sleep allows your body to rest and reset its metabolism. It also helps you avoid midnight snacks and other bad food choices. Getting an hour more of sleep every night could greatly help your chances of making healthy food choices throughout the day, too.

Be Positive

Don’t say you “have to” eat healthy or you “have to” go to the gym. Think of these things in the positive. You get to live a healthier, more active lifestyle, and you get to improve your fitness.

Always Travel With Healthy Snacks

Whether you’re headed to the office, the gym, or on a road trip, always bring some healthy snacks with you. This way, when you get hungry, you won’t be as tempted to stop at the drive-through for something greasy and fatty.

These are some of the best diet and weight loss tips in the world. Use some or all of them, and you’ll notice significant improvements in your weight in less time than you ever thought possible. After all, they work for the stars, why wouldn’t they work for you?
