Boom Jinx, real name Øistein Johan Eide, was born on 10 September 1974 and he is a Norwegian producer. He spent most of his early years developing music and became good at it, so much so that he attracted the like of the Commodore Amiga computer company. He used the computer software Sound Tracker to make music for them. Jinx main it into the mainstream by writing music for EA’s “Need for Speed” and “FIFA”. He also did some work in the commercial film/TV industry, creating music for CBS’ “CSI:Miami” and “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”.

In 2005 his passion steered him towards Dance Music and he quickly developed a repetition for his unique style. He did not do many releases, but whatever music created drew lots of attention and respect from other DJs like Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten and others. Two of his more popular singles are “Come Play Perfect” and “Remember September”. His Debut LP is entitled ‘No Answers In Luck’.
